Responsible for algorithm development, modeling, system simulation, implementation and verification for embedded Navigation systems with emphasis on military GPS receivers.
This principal-level role will participate in product development process including structured requirements, modeling and simulation, algorithm development, co-simulation, HW and SW trades, processor selection, documentation and systems design reviews. Support proposal preparation, systems engineering cost estimation, and presentation of assigned tasks for internal and external customers. Assist with managing systems engineering activity to budget and schedule.
Bachelor or Masters degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or related discipline, and a minimum of 15 years overall professional experience. Graduate degree or higher a plus.
Ideal candidates will recently have 7+ years of experience with navigation systems with emphasis in embedded systems.
Must have some experience in requirements development and management.
Knowledge or successful use of architectural frameworks, object oriented programming, requirements management, signal processing, electronic engineering and/or RF designs.
Requires a strong math background with a desired knowledge of Kalman filters, covariance analysis, digital/analog signal processing and external navigation sensor fusion.
Active Security Clearance is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet and maintain eligibility requirements for access to DoD classified information.
